Dayboro is quaint country town, with a big spirit; located in the City of Moreton Bay - just 45 kilometres or so north-northwest of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

It's a favourite destination for lovers of arts and culture, car and motorcycle clubs, weekend country drives, and adventurers.

How to get here

There are three main ways to arrive in Dayboro:

From the South or Brisbane CBD

Head out along Samford Road to Ferny Grove and then onto Samford - approximately 15 minutes from Ferny Grove Train Station. Samford Village also offers a host of things to see and do, and may make your trip well worth an overnight stay in one of the local B&Bs.

Follow Mt Samson Road out of Samford Village for the 20 min drive to Dayboro - it's a popular weekend drive with beautiful scenery, paddocks and fields. You'll see cows, horses, sheep and goats, and maybe even an alpaca or two!

If coming from the Eatons Hill Hotel, travel down Eatons Crossing Road and turn right at Mt Samson Road towards Dayboro. Dayboro is only a 25min drive from the Eatons Hill Hotel.

Coming from the Northside of Brisbane

Take Bruce Highway exit 133 (Anzac Ave), travelling towards Petrie. Turn right at the Dayboro Road intersection, and head past the Old Petrie Town Historic Village, Lake Kurwongbah, North Pine Dam, and on to Dayboro. This easy drive is approximately 20 mins from Petrie.

Coming from the Sunshine Coast

You also have the option to take exit 152 from the Bruce Highway, then travel towards Woodford. At D'Aguilar, turn left at Mount Mee Road and take the drive through Mount Mee, Ocean View and on to Dayboro. This route is very popular with Car and Motorcycle Clubs as the picturesque drive winds its way through the hills and dairy cattle farms.
